SEE YOU IN...
Welcome
Dear Colleagues,
The role of hydrogen in the individual sectors of developed economies around the globe is becoming increasingly significant. In spite of numerous challenges and skepticism, increasing number and size of demonstration and commercial implementation projects become reality. Most of the projects pushed through despite obstacles along the way even in the face of not yet fully established supply chains, dramatic inflation or incomplete regulatory framework. But individual barriers were or will be gradually overcome. To illustrate, the regulatory framework established at the European level, coupled with early financial assistance for developing necessary infrastructure, paves way for hydrogen uptake.
Our chosen theme of this edition of the Hydrogen Days conference, “Hydrogen – From Politics to Business”, reflects current progress in hydrogen technologies. Now, probably the most difficult task is ahead of us. It involves scale up of hydrogen technologies to the dimensions responding to the industrial needs and making the green hydrogen costs competitive. This involves not only the industrial sector ensuring implementation of the existing technologies, but also research and development of new generation of these technologies. More reliable, more flexible and more cost effective. Success is only possible when all key stakeholders in the hydrogen community collaborate to address these challenges. Hydrogen has an important role to play in the near future. To become reality, we need to be confident about our work and we need to convince individual industrial sectors, together with public. We need to explain the hydrogen ecosystem in its whole complexity and with its entire potential.
Hydrogen Days 2025 conference takes place in Prague from March 19 to 21, 2025.
Our conference traditionally represents an excellent option for networking and gaining knowledge. Let us come together to exchange insights on the latest developments in hydrogen from both scientific and industrial perspectives. I believe 2025 will be a pivotal year, setting us on the right path forward.
