Director General of Section of Economy and Director of Construction Department

Mr. Muřický has held managing positions at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic since 2008. In January 2023, he has been appointed Director General of Section of Economy and Director of Construction Department. From October 2014 to December 2022 he managed the Section of Industry as Deputy Minister. Prior to this appointment, he was responsible for the Strategies and Trends Department (2008–2012), in 2012, he was appointed as Director of Section of Industry.

Before joining the Ministry, he held various managerial positions in private sector companies such as Mediatel and JPS. He also worked in the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises of the Ministry of Economy.

Eduard graduated from the Faculty of International Affairs at University of Economics, Prague in 1992 with a Master´s Degree in Economics.
